Using the Rules Composer, you can set up personalized rules (triggers) for content organization. This includes menus for selecting pre-defined options based on your system’s setup.
Using the Rules Composer
To use the Rules Composer:
- Log in to InReality.
- Click Rules in the left-side menu to open the Rules Composer.
- Click Create New Rule in the top-right corner.
- Provide a Rules Name, any relevant Tags, and a Description of the rule.
- Click Create.
Next, you’ll need to set up the conditions of your rule (trigger).
To do so:
- Click Add Condition.
- Click the Select AOI dropdown and select the sensor associated with the camera or radar you’re using for this trigger.
- Click the Datasource dropdown and select Radar or the camera you’d like to source.
- Available options will be determined by your AOI selection.
- Under your AOI and Datasource selections, click Add New Condition.
- Select a Data Point.
- This’ll depend on what you want the trigger to display.
- Select an Operator* configuration.
- This will be equal to, not equal to, greater than or less than.
- Select a Value.
- Available options will be determined by your Data Point selection.
To complete your new rule (trigger), you’ll need to assign an action.
To do so:
- Click Add Action.
- Click the Select AOI dropdown, then select 3rd Party.
- Under Value, enter Enplug.
- Click Publish Rule.
- Select the Venue (location) where you want the rule attached.
- You can choose up to two venues.
- Click Publish.
Timebox Settings
If you’ve added two separate conditions to a new rule, you’ll be provided with a timebox option. This creates an action when two conditions occur within a selected timeframe.
To create a timebox event:
- Click the clock icon to the left of your set conditions.
- In the Occurrence dropdown, select Occurs Within.
- Click Done.
- In the Time(sec) field, enter the duration you’d like (in seconds).
- Click Done.
Note: Timebox settings and events are an option feature.
