Access Device Management
In the top-right of the screen, click the grid menu icon to the left of the User / Company Name. Then in the pop-up menu click ‘Devices’ to access Device Management.
Device Management
The Device Management page will display all the devices claimed to your account. Use the search field to search on a Device Name or WiFI MAC ID. The following fields are displayed for each device:
- Device Name - User can update the name, to identify Venue, City, Location, etc.
- MAC ID - The WiFI Mac is displayed.
- Venue Assigned - Venue Name the device is assigned to, is displayed. A device will only be displayed once it’s assigned to a Venue.
- Device Status - Online or Offline; Note the device may be powered on, functioning properly and collecting data, but if it’s not connected to the network it will display as Offline.
- Log Status - See descriptions of the Log Status below.
- Action Menu - See descriptions of the Action Menu items below.
Device Status and Log Status
The ‘Status’ field will display green or red, to signify if the device is online or offline. Note the device may be powered on, functioning properly and collecting data, but may not be connected to the network.
The ‘Log Status’ may display as a green, yellow or red status. Green indicates that the device has uploaded a log to the Cloud in the past 24 hours. Yellow indicates the device is online but it’s been over 24 hours since a log was uploaded. Red indicates the device is offline and hasn't submitted a log in 24 hours.
Mouseover the Log Status buttons to view the last date/time it was uploaded.
Actions
At the right side of the page, each device will have an Actions menu, as shown above. Click the associated icon to take action.
Note: The options displayed will be different for a Radar Sensor, than for an embedded PC or media player. See the following sections for details.
Actions - Radar Sensor
Show Info: Displays Device Name and user defined Description. Both fields can be edited. The MAC ID and IP address are also displayed.
Show Record: Action is not supported on Radar.
Configuration: Allows you to access and edit the device's app configuration settings.
Live Preview: Displays Live Preview as on a mobile device.
Firmware: List our available firmware and select firmware for OTA update.
Run Diagnostics: Run a diagnostics report of the Radar sensor
Download Logs: Downloads diagnostic log of the Radar sensor
Reboot: Reboots the Radar sensor
Unclaim: Used to remove the device from a platform account where it's been claimed
Actions - Radar Live Preview
The Radar Live Preview feature, allows users to remotely view the Radar Sensors Live Preview feature, from the Platform Device Management. As shown below, the three zones (Traffic, Impressions, Engagement) are displayed, showing the location of the Radar Sensor, and people presently in the zones. The number of individuals will also be displayed below for each zone, as shown below.
The Radar Sensor’s live data is displayed. Note that it may take a few seconds to connect and obtain and display the live events in the platform account.
